HI, I'M LUCY GUYER.
I am a graphic designer based in Los Angeles, CA. My fortes include digital and print advertising design for the fashion industry, typographic composition, and brand identity design. Born and raised in Seattle, I graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Animation + Visual Effects.
I strive to create art that inspires change in society. I believe that all art forms have a similar purpose: to ignite a fire within an audience, to shift someone’s perspective on an idea, and to introduce a concept that humbly demands us to think.
Design has the power to share a story that the artist is incapable of expressing in words, so I strongly associate my creative ambition with a sense of self. Hence, advertising design and editorial design are my strengths. I am an empath who can translate a client’s motives into strong visual communication.
Overall, I aim to make design decisions that effectively elevate a client’s core identity through style, space, and form. Through this balance, I create pieces that give a voice to the unheard, pieces that work toward a better world, and pieces that paint music across a billboard.
